AS OF JANUARY 2018 I WILL BE USING COLD LASER THERAPY AND OUR NEW THERMOGRAPHY CAMERA ON OUR REHAB HORSES. COLD LASERS ARE USED TO STIMULATE CELLS IN THE BODY TO HEAL AND REPAIR SOFT TISSUE AND ARE PROVEN TO REDUCE PAIN AND INFLAMMATION. ALONGSIDE BEING VERY HELPFUL IN HEALING TENDON, LIGAMENT, MUSCLE AND BONE INJURIES, COLD LASER THERAPY IS ALSO USED TO IMPROVE RESPIRATORY, DIGESTIVE, NEURAL, AND IMMUNE SYSTEMS. THE THERMOGRAPHY CAMERA IS A VERY USEFUL TOOL TO SHOW ANY INFLAMMATION IN THE BODY, AND CLIENTS WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE A COMPLETE MAPPING OF THE HORSE'S BODY FOR THEIR RECORDS VIA EMAIL.

This goes to prove that invasive surgery is not always the answer….
This video is of "Sasha" when she first arrived in Namibia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93hkNAumowg She had been diagnosed with a torn ACL by her vet in the U.S., who had warned that if it didn't improve she would need to have surgery. She could barely put her leg down properly to walk. The 2nd clip is of "Sasha" four months and JUST THREE osteo-therapy treatments later!! With regular exercise and proper diet in place to support the treatments, after a while there was no more visible limping, a lot less pain and much more mobility. And a MUCH HAPPIER DOG! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_b7LlZkc9w |
I decided to write this blog in a diary type way, to share news and interesting stories about some of my treatments.Archives
